Great Jamaican spot in Palo Alto, good selection, friendly staff, great tasting..wish I had more time to go back for another trip. Had Jerk Chicken and Oxtail, well seasoned, extra jerk sauce on the side to 'kick it up a notch'. Enjoyed it !

Far superior to the "sister" restaurant in Palo Alto. I think the food is better at this location. The highlights for me: jerk chicken, pork, plantains, collards, festivals. I wish they had the pineapple ginger drink more often!
The atmosphere was great, very Caribbean. Food was excellent. I had fish with plantains and rice. Full of flavor, good mix of spices. Prices are good. I paid $13 for my meal.
Hold on to your coconuts, this place just might blow your taste buds.

I was thrilled to find this place, I thought, and got meat patties to go. OMG, they were nasty. No flavor and the texture was like that of potted meat. I was so disappointed.
not bad... enjoy... I only had a burger salad (I'm GF & don't do spicy) and a side of Plantains!! YUM :)
It was my first time to eat caribbean/jamaican, but i really liked the jerk chicken and the rice/beans. It was not spicy though which i didnt like.
The jerk chicken was very tender and the rice/beans had a coconut flavor which was really good.
Did not like fried plantains or the corn festival.
Its a small restaurant, you really have...

Friendly staff and open to special requests. If you're craving Jamaican food...go here! The patties, jerk steak, oxtail & ginger beer were stars. Restaurant is a bit cozy and VERY casual. Has cool murals. Lots of traffic from diverse customers.
If you have never tried Island food(Atlantic ocean) ,then you have to go to this place if you are in the bay area , the jerk chicken has been my meal of choice, well marinated ,the plantains were somewhat over ripe ,but in the long run it was great...i took friends there for the first time, and they were amazed...
