I went there with my family and 4 children. We all loved it. Tasty and affordable. Kids loved it too. I highly recommend open sesame in Manhattan Beach.

Every time I land at LAX in the early evening I stop at Open Sesame for dinner. They offer consistently good Middle Eastern food and the portions are large enough to share. We always start with the hummus and yogurt dip. I'm gluten-free so I order a dish of raw veggies for dipping, but have been told the pita bread... More

Open Sesame is a Lebanese restaurant located in the Manhattan Village shopping center near the Ralphs market. There is plenty of free parking available. The restaurant has been open in this location for several years and offers a good selection of middle eastern food. I usually start with an order of potatoes roasted with lemon and garlic - very tasty.... More

This place offers really delicious food, and lots of it! Everything we tried was fantastic, there were several GF offerings. The pickles are great and fresh. Friendly service and atmosphere. HUGE servings!

Wow I had a lamb dish there that I never tried before and I was really impressed. It's served with rice, nuts and raisins. My co-workers were all happy with their lunches too, mostly they ordered Shawarma and Kabobs. Pleasant surprise.

I lived a few years in Lebanon and developed a deep appreciation for the cuisine, which combined a healthful way of eating with subtle, sensuous flavors. Finding Open Sesame was a treat. While the wine list was a bit limited (and included a wine from Lebanon that was pricey and rather ordinary) the food itself was delicious. I particularly enjoyed... More

We specifically seek / appreciate ethnic food to satisfy our discerning palates. It can be a curse to be so particular. Therefore, imagine our delight in lunching at Open Sesame when we were leaving Manhattan Beach the beginning of August. We were impressed with the depth of the menu and very, very pleased with food. We ordered a vast array... More

Overall a very good restaurant. The potato appetizer, recommend by our server, was great, as long as you like garlic. My wife ordered the lamb chops and they were tender and very nicely seasoned. I had the Open Sesame platter; another server recommendation. It includes a chicken tawok, steak kabob and kafta and choose the spicy hummus and tabbouleh sides.... More
