My husband and I were thrilled to find this comfortable, historic pub on our recent afternoon visit to Hollywood. The atmosphere is retro, yet young (in our 50's, we were the oldest couple in the place), and classy. They specialize in British pub food, but we were detoured by the daily specials which we both greatly enjoyed - my husband... More

Pig 'n Whistle is apparntley named after a suicidal actress, Peg Entwistle who leapt to her death off the Hollywood sign in 1932, believing she'd failed as an actress, but a letter offering a role arrived shortly after her suicide. She is said to haunt the hills near the sign. But the boozer is freindly and welcoming and good for... More

This is a strange looking little bar on Hollywood Boulevard, at first we thought it was a converted church as the wooden ceilings were so ornately carved. The building is a little gem and the bar it houses serves decent food and very nice cocktails. Cocktails are around $14 apiece so it isn't cheap but the staff are friendly -... More

This has classic ole Hollywood feel. Fun bar and food is worth eating. It is a locals spot too. I have been several times over the years. Menu will change but always has good variety. They have TV monitors for sports and the bar serves several tap beers. Fun place

The Pig 'N Whistle is in the heart of Hollywood next to the Egyptian Theater. The food is great, the old Hollywood atmosphere makes it better.

Stopped in for lunch on our 1st day in LA, fantastic service & tasty food in an old school setting. A lot of history in this place & has a great vibe about it.

Great martini's nice location, when ever we have family or friends visiting LA and while doing a night in Hollywood I try to stop here and have a drink or two or... just as long as I am not driving.

Went here to watch the Oscars and it was great. The food was very good, and the service was wonderful. Plus they have a decent selection of beers, and good specials at the bar!
