In Mendocino for a girls vacation. One of the local business owners suggested Little River Inn for great fish and chips. We ate in the dinnng room, but they allow you to order from the bar menu in the dinning room. We sat in the Magnolia Room and had a beautiful view of the ocean. the main dinning room is... More

My wife had the most wonderful salmon with a basil sauce! It was absolutely the best! My meal was also quite delicious. The service and the ambience were great. We highly recommend this as a place to dine!

We walked in for breakfast and loved the beautiful garden room for breakfast. The menu was wonderful and the kitchen split both of our orders so we could share. Our coffee cups were never empty ad the staff very attentive. I would have expected to pay twice the price. We will return and most likely stay here as well.

We had Easter Sunday brunch as well as Saturday breakfast here and really loved the selection of entrees, the fantastic wait staff and of course the Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's were to die for! The Easter Bunny came around and handed out candy to everyone (kids and adults alike) which made for a really fun brunch. The food was really... More

We ate here both nights of our stay. Each was excellent. The lamb is sublime and the seafood excellent. The Calamari is a great starter.. It is a quiet area with gardens out the window.

This is a very attractive place for dinner. It's a bit pricey but food and service were great! Go early, because by 9:00 the evening is pretty much over!

We wanted to like this place - the location is lovely. The food was mediocre and the service was atrocious. Undoubtedly the shabby and offensive way we were treated in the bar (staff running around talking to each other, but can't be bothered with the customers) started it off with a bad image, but the food, served in a small... A great place to eat when on the Mendocino coast. The food was delicious. The service was very good. They catered well to our dietary concerns (gluten-free and salt-free). Our waitress won our undying love with a complimentary dessert treat. (Don't tell anyone!)

My wife and I stopped at the Little River Inn for dinner while vacationing on the Mendocino coast. We learned the dining room doesn't open until 6 pm in winter season, so we sat at the bar, ordered our meals and watched the sun set over the ocean. My gulf shrimp salad and calamari entree were very tasty. The interior... More

Our family (3 adults, one teenager) has enjoyed two dinners here. On both occasions the food, service, and atmosphere were all very good.
