Good food and a bottomless pot of coffee make this a regular hang out for locals and visitors. Servings are plentiful. Weekends are crowded so expect a wait to get in.

It was our first morning in the town of La Quinta and we did not want to eat in our hotel. I had read about Louise's Pantry prior to our trip but had decided to ask the concierge for their suggestions. Louise's was first on the list. It did not disappoint us. Good, fresh, fast breakfast or lunch. You can tell a place is good by the amount of cars in the parking lot. That's why we decided to try it, and we weren't disappointed. It helps to get there before 9:00am or be prepared to wait!
Louise's has been around for a long time. It used to have a consistent line of patrons when located in Palm Springs. Then it moved to Palm Desert, and, now La Quinta. Great breakfast spot for "normal" food. Portions are large, wait staff is super efficient, and typically not a long wait to be seated.
You are going to have a scrumptious, freshly prepared home cooked breakfast! The chef and his crew are awesome and can be scene from the bar counter. The breakfast foods are delicious, eggs done to perfection, ask for crispy bacon, you got it! The waffles, French toast all winners. Price wise not out of line compared to other places in...

Louisa's is great for breakfast. Huge menu, everything you could ask for. Service is fast and efficient and served with a smile. You can't beat the pancakes. I always get the banana nut pancakes. The scrambles are also fabulous served with a choice of potatoes and toast. The homemade strawberry jam is delicious and can be purchased to take home....

So glad we found this place on TripAdvisor. Great breakfast. Especially liked the raisin toast and the house made jam.
We have been to Louise's Pantry 3 times in our visits to La Quinta. The food has been tastie each and every time . The service is quick and the portions are huge! It's best to split if you are not too hungry.
We were so excited about having this place nearby after ready all these nice reviews. A breakfast place! But it turned out to be just another mundane coffee shop with nothing special. My husband had the huevos rancheros which came cold and uninteresting. I had the make-your-own omelet which was dried out and tasteless. The ingredients were all overcooked ....
