Wonderful menu and friendly, attentive service makes this a perfect spot for lunch or dinner. The patio is especially delightful if you are here when the weather is warm.

We had a nice experience here. The service was impeccable. The food was tasty. The bread was really fresh and delicious. I had the roasted beet salad with stuffed chicken. They were both very good and I highly recommend both. Other guests had the braised short ribs and the salmon. Nobody had any complaints. Kudos to a great job Solano's!
Great food choices and wonderful service.Save room for dessert. Make sure you reserve an outdoor table, but wait for the sun to go behind the buildings!
The original Solano's was a tiny but charming place with great food and personal, attentive service. This cavernous new place is nothing like the old restaurant. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is equally as friendly and attentive. Food was very good I will be going back to try more.

Eight of us had dinner here recently. We all liked the various meals we ordered. Good service by the wait staff, but getting our meals was a bit slow. Nice atmosphere.
Solano's Bistro has a ton of atmosphere, and on a warm March evening, it's a great place for patio dining in "Old Town" La Quinta. Our party of four loved the ambience, but felt the food did not live up to the reviews, nor the difficulty in getting a weeknight reservation.
The menu is terribly inviting, and all of us...
