After travelling 6 hours cross country we were famished but decided to wait 30 minutes for an outdoor table. The wait was worth it...we had the fish tacos and shrimp tacos. I preferred the shrimp. Service was excellent, views of the cove.

Had did here with a business colleague during a cool, gray stretch of weather in La Jolla. Despite the weather, the view up there and the FULL open air feel is amazing. Highly recommend a visit to George's upper deck outdoor dining area.
The food, while not as amazing as the view, was very good and very fresh. The prices...

A friend recommended George's - otherwise I'm not sure I would have ventured into this restaurant nor found their hidden roof-top deck (the Ocean Terrace)! We just squeezed in during the lunch crowd and were thankfully seated up against the building since there was a definite chill in the air. We overlooked the Pacific ocean watching the sun fight off...

The food is excellent and the view is amazing. Great Bloody Mary to. Will definitely go back when visiting La Jolla Cove
Love this place. We went for lunch and it was very relaxed and definitely not crowded. I have been there for dinner and found it very busy... lunch is a different story. Food was very good, service excellent, view superb.. At no point we were rushed. Price is very reasonable for lunch...
Great location. Beautiful La Jolla Beach view from the top. We eat out on the top floor balcony/terrace and the view was great. Service was excellent, food was pretty good. It was pricey for me, but considering the location and being in California prices, it was OK I guess. An annoyance was the foul smell coming from the beach's natural...

We have visited this lovely restaurant for many years and it keeps reinventing and surpassing itself as well as all other restaurants in La Jolla. While the view from either the restaurant or the bar higher up is beyond spectacular the real draw to us is the food. The menu shifts with the seasons and the freshness of the local...

I was looking for a place to have lunch with good seafood and an ocean view. This was it! Very pleasant setting on the rooftop, incredible view of La Jolla Cove with sea lions. Nice to sit out in good weather.
We ate at George's based on a friend's recommendation that we HAD to try the signature Chicken and Black Bean soup. I didn't make a reservation so we had to wait about an hour, but it was worth the wait! The service was impeccable, even bringing us a blanket because it was bit chilly. I know now why my friend...

The view at George's at the Cove is absolutely breathtaking. You have an option to sit up on the rooftop or downstairs (which still has a view). The rooftop has heaters the pump out the heat for the chilly days. The bar is great and the staff is friendly. The view gives George's it's reputation though. You can see the...
