The atmosphere was excellent, service outstanding. Appetizers were delicious and unique. I also loved that this restaurant displays a list daily of the ingredients that are sourced locally. Highly recommend for drinks, appetizers, and though I didn't have dinner there, I will certainly try to get back for it someday!

This is absolutely one of my wife's and my favorite locals places. The food is always inventive, Healthy, and seasonally inspired. The pricing is fair and the service is friendly and efficient. They have the best burger in town, hands down. Portion sizes are reasonable and we have never had a less than exceptional food and service experience. My wife... More

We sat on the heated patio and it was nice. The selections are above typical and the service isn't bad.

I went here recently with my GF. Very nice place, nice atmosphere, very nice waiters. We had a beer problem (whereby, they were out of the one I wanted) and they were very good about finding a replacement. They recommended one and let me try it beforehand, very classy. The food was good, but what I didn't care for was... More

Just returned from a super evening at the Whisk'n'Ladle. Food was extremely well prepared and presented. The halibut, as recommended, was excellent and our deserts, a blueberry cobbler and a white chocolate sandwich were to die for. Service was very good a were the wines from the standard list. Although it was expensive it was worth every penny.

We've dined here twice. The first time, about a year ago, was magical. One of the best waiters we've ever had, and we've dined everywhere. The restaurant was full, but not so packed that it was miserable. The food was excellent. The Concierge at our hotel made the reservation and we were so glad that we took her suggestion. Our... More

Eclectic menu! From sweetbreads to a roasted porkchop. We enjoyed a "platter" as an appitizer. The food is different as I tried the veal stuffed tortillini with poached shrimp, another at the table tried the roasted pork chop. Not a place for children!

For our last evening after an extended weekend in La Jolla, we were excited to try Whisk n ladle. It did not disappoint. Great atmosphere. Great service. Unique menu and great food. The coconut sorbet is some of the best dessert I've ever had at a restaurant.

This is a great little restaurant with excellent food and service although at times I have felt rushed. It is pricey but it's in a good location and the menu is quite extensive, using local ingredients whenever possible. I really like it here but the seats are very uncomfortable and because of this I often decide to walk past the... More

Amazing experience. Great tasting food and over the top customer service. When our waitress was busy taking care of another table, another waitress stepped up to provide assistance without us even asking. When ordering, someone in our party incorrectly ordered. When the food came out, we let them that it was our mistake but they apologized to us while taking... More
