Not a bad little Chinese restaurant. Great potstickers! Some of the other dishes were just so-so, but not bad at all. Prices were right.

This is not the best Chinese food in the area. Not even close. It reminded me of Chinese food I had as a child. The decor is very interesting. The service was fast and friendly, but I would not eat there again.
My husband and I are new to the Granite Bay, CA area...the three Asian restaurants that we have in town are just okay. We tried Hop Sing Palace on Wednesday night and it was fantastic. This is an old fashion Chinese restaurant that you don't find anymore...many different dishes offered. The hot and sour soup was the best we have...

Excellant food; large portions and fast, friendly service. We were seated right a way. We "shared" dishes and had plently to take home for later.
Great Staff, and the food is very tasty. The lunch specials are a fantastic bargain. I enjoyed the fried rice, and the egg rolls are really crunchy.
This isn't always the best Chinese food, or the most authentic. But I like coming here because the service is good and because the place has character. The same owner has been there for the past 12 years at least, along with some of the wait staff (is that the owner's daughter?) As far as the decor, it's like stepping...

This restaurant has been around for maybe (75+ ) years...the food is real, authentic Chinese, THE BEST YOU WILL FIND ANYWHERE...small, always busy, with a special room in the rear for birthdays, group parties, etc. which we have used twice...Bill, your nightly host, has been there forever (maybe not 75 years however)
This place was AWEFUL! Everything about it was horrible, the service, the food and the environment. I guess I should have gotten a clue when my mother had to wipe off her silver wear. I ordered the won tons with cream cheese and found out that they had crab in them! That is a huge safety risk. I even double...

Note to self; Don't go to a Chinese restaurant by yourself.
I'm here working in Folsom for a month of so, and the folks in my office suggested I try Hop Sing Palace. So, it's Friday night and a good time to try it out. First thing I notice is that it's the only restaurant in the "old town" of...

We must have gone on a bad night - we ordered the nightly special for $9.95 - it tasted like it was fried last week and heated up before they served it - waitress could not be bothered checking on us - I swear their white wine was improperly labeled - it tasted like it was a rot gut version...
