This place is famous for it's chicken soup and I would stick with that. Other items are okay but some other Mexican restaurants do a better job.

Lourdes has good mexican food. If you go there, it is a must to order the Chicken Soup to either have it there or take it home. Our son and his wife got us started in several years ago. Stopped in after a business meeting and had the chicken soup and a shredded beef burrito. Both were fantastic! The chicken soup was loaded with white meat. I had a cold and it really hit the spot. The place was packed with locals. I will make sure to eat here again the next time I am in the area.

This is my favorite place to get Mexican. They serve almost everything under the sun, including a chicken soup to die for. All thumbs up.

The food was bland, the margerita was weak. Pretty restaurant though and I was looking for something safe. As a friend later said "It's a tragedy to have bad Mexican food in Escondido.

Their chicken soup is amazing. Every time we aren't feeling well, that soup is coming home. We like it without all the fancy stuff like avocado. Quick and yummy.
