We ate at the Cupertino location of Alexander's; there are two others in the region. This is an American-style steakhouse with a Japanese flare. What I mean by this, is that in addition to the selection of delectable steaks of the Angus variety, there are numerous Wagyu steak options (all at a premium price) and the appetizers are very much... Whenever we go , the food is good, staff is friendly, and no surprises. I do enjoy their mac-and cheese though..nice to see a twist on an old classic that is yummy! The staff is excellent with providing the cooking style of meat I want. i.e. all of my party was pleased with the way the meat was cooked.

This was a great night out. The staff is awesome, not pretentious, and treats guests no what they are wearing as important and worth it. Very attentive, patient, and able to explain consistently what are in the meals, as well as the extra treats the chef comes up with. The food was of course fantastic, with the steak being like... We came to celebrate my wife's birthday and enjoyed the service, but we were very surprised by a very casual dress code of the guests. What was even more surprising to us, when a large party at a table next to ours arrived with a baby in a baby stroller, all dressed as if attending a picnic, something we did... More

Good food but very high priced. A much better deal than Morton's, however. Nice ambiance and great beef.

One of the best steakhouses around. We were quite a large group and we made an arrangement ahead of time with them so that we can have samples of everything. Amazing!!!! The sides were great, the meat was extremely good, deserts were very very good. Ambiance is really elegant and nice! It is not cheap but worth it!

We were in town on business, and the vendor took us out to dinner. This is a major company with deep pockets, so we all ate well that night! First, as most ppl will point out, the wait staff is johnny on the spot, and lot's of 'em. Our waiter was nice, if a little bumbling. Probably a good thing... More

my first time at this restaurant. Service is good, however for some reason, we had to wait for about 45 min. for the food (it was on a weekend at 7pm). The Kobe steak was the best. so was the ribeye. The NY strip was ok, not great. We paid over 1,000 dollars (tips+tax) for 5 people with no wine... More

I was lucky enough to dine with a couple of Alexander's "regulars" who knew to order hamachi shots for our appetizer. What a fun and unique way to dive into one of the best Asian steakhouse restaurants on the west coast. It will go down in my book as one of my all-time favorite restaurants not for the outstanding food... More
