I'd never been to Cello's because it's a bit out of the way for me, but was very pleasantly surprised when I ate there with friends last night. It was a "dog benefit" and we are all dog lovers. I ordered a trout stuffed with crab, green beans accompanying; great to see trout on the menu. The dessert was a... More

Don't be put off by the strip mall surroundings this relatively new addition to the Cathedral City Dining scene has a very pleasant interior ambience indeed. Friendly and helpful staff. A rather strange combination starter of Shrimp and roasted cauliflower - excellent shrimp but what was with the cauliflower - not complimentary at all and let the meal down somewhat.... More

I did a bit of research before this trip for a place that was primarily reviewed for their food. As this would be my birthday dinner - I wanted a delicious meal. Though about 20 minutes from downtown Palm Springs - this is worth the drive. We had the wedge salad and the beet salad to start - very good... More

This lovely restaurant in the midst of a former shopping mall is a perfect oasis of ambiance, great service and superb food. The wine selection is varied and affordable - the lemon drinks are stellar. This is a place where the owners circulate regularly to interact with guests and servers - after a couple of visits you are treated like... More

Don't miss a chance to dine at Cello's in Cathedral City, CA! Excellent dining and service with plenty of locals, every night. Good value! And be sure to take the limoncello making class on Saturday - $50/person with a light dish + a limoncello woopie pie + your own jar of limoncello in progress. Excellent!

We were given a gift certificate by our generous vacation host, and first drove by the restaurant to check it out. The restaurant looked cheery and we decided to go there for our farewell dinner, but decided to go quite early so we wouldnt need a reservation, and could have a relaxing meal and would be finished in plenty of... Once again our guests help us build a better restaurant. Thank you so much for your comments regarding the seating during Happy Hour. We have just started this promotion and know that we have some kinks to work out. Your feedback will definitely be looked at carefully. I am assuming that your waiter was Anthony, he is a delight to... More

My husband & I signed up for a Limoncello making class with Tom & Bonnie, the owners. We had so much fun! A group of 6 of us. We met new people & learned how to make a new drink for family & friends. Tom & Bonnie also served appetizers, very delicious! The classes are held every Saturday in January.... More

We absolutely LOVE Cellos. The owners Bonnie and Tom have created a classy restaurant so needed here in Cathedral City. We have been going there since it opened several years ago. We take all of our out of town guests there, plus our friends from Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage. The food is always delicious and the service is superb.... More

Live and Learn- Food Poisoning and More- Ok a couple of weeks ago I was at Cello's and I was not terribly hungry so I ordered the crab napolean appetizer. It did not taste great but I just thought that was my palate. I had been to the restaurant before and had enjoyed the eggplant dish. Long story short was... More

Where is the last place you would go to eat if you allegedly had "food poisoning"? The same restaurant a week later? I think not. Plus demand free food, sounds like extortion to me. Not only do we carry an "A" rating form the Department of Environmental Health but have received an Award of Recognition of Outstanding Food Facility Performance.... More

Don't be fooled by its inauspicious strip mall location. Once you enter, Sarah will greet you like family (even if it is your first time), and you will experience an intimate bar, cute "bistro" area, and nicely appointed dining room. With a friendly smile, a quick wit, and a heavy pour, Rick presides over the bar where a very reasonably... More
