The restaurant has a good atomsphere with wide open front windows - nearly like sitting outdoors. The tables are in a good distance from one another, so that if offers a good privacy. Foor preparation and presentation is excellent, same for the service.

Four of us dined at Brannan's and all were pleased with the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere. It was a pleasure to be able to have conversation which is often difficult at noisy establishments. The atmosphere is very pleasant with an historic bar and large dining room.

Food fair. Service was dreadful. Manager unhelpful. Decided to revisit this restaurant after a good experience last year. What a mistake!! The service was absolutely awful. When we asked - half an hour after we finished our main course - where our dessert was, the waiter kept up with a rash of excuses even though we had ordered the dessert... More

This may seem a bad review, but it is not my intention. The food that was served was really nice comfort food that tasted good without any doubt. Unfortunately there are so many great restaurants in the area that we've visited this place falls back in the ratings. So please, don't take this review as critics for we enjoyed our... More

Brennan's is overpriced, pretentious, and the food makes no sense. It's like whoever created the menu items put dishes together without tasting them. Each item we ordered tasted odd, some to the point of not wanting to eat them. We will go elsewhere our next visit to Calistoga.

We had a dinner in that place. The main dish was ok but certainly did not match the price they asked for it. They charches extra for the side dish, but that was excellent. The biggest disappoint us the wine. Very average and very expensive. Otherwise, the service was good, and the place is clean , in good location and... More

We stopped for lunch one afternoon. I had fish & chips, my husband had pulled pork sandwich. Neither were impressive - especially for the price. Totally unforgettable and not somewhere we'll ever return to. With all the good restaurants around, one chance is enough.

My experience here was mixed. The lamb shank was excellent. The rabbit was dry and inedible. The oysters were good. Service was on the slow side.

This restaurant is inviting. The menu was so so. Our waiter while very nice was a tad forgetful. The food was alright. The bar tender was a very nice Mexican man. He was very friendly and has been working there for many years.

My mom and I had lunch here and it was decent. Out waitress was MIA, and my lemonade tasted like someone squeezed a lemon into some ice. My mom ordered the fish and chips, and they were so greasy they were unpalatable - and it was 60% breading. My steak fries were mediocre and the sauce on it that was... More
