So, my friend tries to convince me that we want to go there, even though I don't eat red meat. She's in love with the Persian burger (she loves EVERYTHING Persian). I luck out: lots of non-red meat choices, including a spicy chicken burger that I adore. Crispy, crinkle cut fries, great and friendly and quick service. It's worth finding... More

Not THE most amazing in the world, but pretty much top 10%. That puts this at the top of the list for anyone visiting Berkeley. Nice meat, great char, and good fries (though not served very hot). Good value, and just a nice alternative to any chain anywhere. They also have a lamb burger and veggie options to cater to... More

2 blocks from campus, friendly staff and excellent burgers and fries. In addition, great vegetarian option too. Unpretentious spot with fun vibe, tasty burgers and great fries. We were a family of 4 stopping in for college tour and were happy we stopped in!

Truly a triumph of how amazing a well-made burger and fries can be. Nothing too over the top in terms of fixings but this is my first choice when I need a burger. Onion rings are also amazing.

First time there this week. The bean burger was nice and fresh and filling and the open windows make it refreshing.

I was suprised of the great quality of Bongo burgers hamburger. As a side dish you can have mediterranean salad in stead of still tasty fries. Great value combos $ 8–10. I can highly recommend this Turkish hamburger joint!

Ranch and ketchup? Yes! Eat them with their fries! Bongo Burger is served fresh as well. Although the wait could be a little long, As I'm typing, i'm craving for their fries.. again.

Best burgers and Persian chicken sandwiches around, especially for the price. The atmosphere could be improved, but when you are in the mood for a great cheap meal and don't mind rather basic surroundings this is the place to go in Berkeley (note: we ate at the North Side BB on Euclid).

I've been eating at Bongos since I was in high school over 30 years ago. I usually frequent the Dwight Way or Northside locations. Persian Burgers are the best. Get the Bongo salad with it and you have a huge meal for cheap. Can't be beat.
