There was a nice ambience on the roof terrace, although the fact that all the waiting-on staff were English removed any 'continental' flavour (but service was good). The food was very good - I had the rosada wrapped in bacon and my wife a lamb dish. My wife had also visited earlier in the year and enjoyed the Thai curry.... More

We ate on the middle terrace which was very pleasant, we had been previously and were aware that the restaurant was a bit more expensive than the surrounding establishments but felt it was worth it Once again on this occasion we were not disappointed, staff were very welcoming and professional and the food was extremely good, nice steak and seafood... I'm a bit picky. I like my steak as a fillet and cooked to American medium well -- not the leather version in Britain. And most cooked veg gets left on my plate. After four trips to Scarletta's in the past year, the food consistently gets polished off my plate. It is my favourite Nerja restaurant. My husband and I... More

We picked out Scarlettas quite randomly one evening while walking in Nerja. We sat at the upper roof terrace which had nice views of the surrounding mountains. The food both evenings was delicious and plentiful in supply. the dessert (brownie) was very tasty and the glass of Sangria was delicious. Scarlettas have a wide variety of food-fish, burgers, pasta etc.... More

During our 4-day stay in Nerja, we enjoyed two wonderful meals at Scarletta's. Nerja, like many seaside destinations, features an amazing number of restaurants within the town centre. There was a surprising variety to choose from, but Scarletta's stood out clearly in terms of quality. We ate on the lower terrace the first time, the upper terrace the second, each... More

Been to Scarlettas before, and on one occasion been disappointed with the service, but the food is very good. I believe it's English owned, all the staff are certainly British. I had been intending on going to The California which is two doors down from Scarlettas, but it was closed so we decided to go her instead. Beer was expensive... More

My wife and I have been to La Scarletta around once a year for the last 4 years when we drive over from Granada. Every single year has been an unequivocal success! This year we went back the second night. First the service: Over our two evenings there we were served by everybody. Three waitresses (Spanish and English) and the... More

Took a chance with this restaurant as we had not read the reviews and as the seating is upstairs on the terrace and also on the rooftop we could not judge the ambience, etc. However, were we glad we did. The irish fillet steak is to die for. Cooked to perfection! Excellent service, wonderful seating up on the roof top... More

We spend a good amount of time in Nerja and this was always on our list for decent food and reasonable prices , the time before last was average but having been there last night - it's off our list . There are so many better places in Nerja . Food was poor , service chaotic and never relaxing to... More
