Of late, I have been noticing a few negative reviews of Haveli, and it fills me with disgust. For 15 years I have been going to this restaurant, with my family, extended family, and a host of friends.Never have we had even an average meal. The food has always been perfectly made to order, the quantities more than sufficient and the service,... I visited with my family and the Haveli was pretty disappointing. The food was overpriced and bland. My wife and I ordered two completely different main courses. She had a Bhuna and I had Chilli chicken masala. they were both exactly the same (In fact my wife who doesn't like very spicy food had started to eat mine thinking it... More

As a family we love our Indian food, and have had the pleasure of trying many restaurants around the world, but without any doubt, the tenderness and freshness of the food at The Haveli is the best we've ever had. If you like a mildly hot dish, then treat yourself to the Lamb Chilli Masalla - the lamb literally melts... More

There must obviously be two Haveli restaurants in Nerja because from what has been previously posted does not in any way reflect my experience of my visits. My favourite starter has always been the onion bajee the three that were served to me were not only large but cooked to perfection and tantalised my pallet before the main course was... More

We visited the Haveli three times during our recent holiday to Nerja and it is still good. We first went there about 9 years ago and loved it so much that everytime we went on holiday to Nerja we returned to this indian restaurant. The food was still very good, we had the chicken shaslik, lamb dansak, and a vegetable... More

I live in Granada province and decided to visit Nerja for a rare treat (Indian Food). Have been to Haveli many times and know that its not fantastic but it does satisfy the craving. We ordered some popadums etc to start, they arrived within 5 minutes (much to the waitresses delight). unfotunately they were soft and a bit stale tasting.... More

Looking at the prices on the menu we could see it was expensive, sixty euros for a curry for two with a starter each with only a two beers added, but we thought it must be good, so we'll treat ourselves at the end of our holiday. Food was OK, certainly nowhere as good as UK Indians but passable. The... More

It had made an impression in the past, but this time the prices had gone too high and the portions seem smaller. Tiny onion bhajis (about the size of an ikea meatball)!! Maybe I was lucky the first time, but it now seemed emptier, pricier, blander and stingier. what a disappointment! especially when they seem to have the perfect formula... More
