I'm spoilt that I live in Strandhill so get to frequent the Strand whenever! It's great everytime...whether you sit outside in the cold winter sunshine or when it's warm, or cosy up inside beside the fire. Great staff, service & Guinness!
The place was packed to the rafters which is always a good sign.
As we hadn't booked and it was so busy, we were seated at a bar style table which was fine and quite comfy.
The staff were very friendly, helpful & informative.
The food was simple, wholesome cuisine but was fresh and full of taste!
Loved it, would...

Fantastic food, drink & craic in Strandhill. If you are staying anywhere in the vicinity this is THE place to be, day or night. Great live music, tvs for "the match", excellent food and a great Guinness. Stayed in Strandhill for the weekend and visited multiple times after surfing for a cold refreshment!!!
Delicious Food & drink, friendly and helpful staff - topped off with complimentary taxi back to our house - would highly recommend The Strand Bar anytime !
Had my hen night here a few weeks ago. the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub itself is lovely, plenty of space and clean toilets. Mass were the band playing on the night and they were unreal! Can't wait to come back!

Popped in here after a seaweed bath for a spot of lunch. All the food was lovely, and the service was very friendly. Well priced menu offered a good selection, try the open seafood sandwich with a pint of Guinness for the perfect lunch in this busy seaside gem! Delicious!
