Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My family, mum and dad stayed for one night, wish we could have stayed longer. The apartments are stylish and spotless with a spectacular view. They have everything you need. Anthony and Pauline are wonderful hosts, nothing is too much bother. We also had a...drink in the bar which was lovely and homely. Hope to stay again soon and taste the cuisine. GillianMore

Excellent accommodation light, bright, airy and spotless. We stayed in the Penthouse apartment with balcony to the front with magnificent sea views and seating area to the back which was a sun trap. Parking provided too. The hosts were lovely! We had a beautiful meal...in the restaurant with a great beach view window table. Very relaxed! Thanks for a wonderful stay and we'll be back!More

We spent a weekend & from the onset the hospitality received from the owners was second to none. They went above & beyond to make our stay memorable .We stayed in the penthouse apartment & I have to say it was so beautifully decorated and...homely & met all our needs as a family of 4. The apartment itself is of a very high standard throughout & stunning views overlooking Rossnowlagh beach. Thank you Pauline & Anthony for acommodating us at very short notice & we will definitely be back to visit again. The weekend to say the least was "Blissfull" from start to finish. My family and I are just back from an amazing week's stay in the Gaslight! The newly refurbished apartment fitted 4 of us comfortably. The apartment is modern, very clean, practical and has a spectacular view. Our apartment had a lovely balcony which we used...on many occasions to watch the sunset. Pauline and Anthony were superb hosts and couldn't be more helpful. The food in the restaurant downstairs was delicious also. We can't wait to stay again next year!More

My Fiancée and I landed in last night at half 8 in the middle of storm Jorge. The owner and the chef were sitting by the fire as they had stopped serving food because of the weather. Even though the kitchen was closed they very...kindly offered to make us food, saying that they wouldn’t send us home hungry. The chef, Chris, made us two absolutely lovely Cod and Chips which we ate by the fire whilst chatting to the owners. Amazing food and great Craic on a Stormy night. They couldn’t have been more accommodating and we could’ve happily sat by the cosy fire all night - would highly recommend and will definitely be back!More

No vegan options on the menu so was about to go next door to the smugglers. Server told us "no problem" they have a go to dish they can do. Got brought out a two tiny servings of pre-made plain boiled white rice and what...must have been a quarter. of a tin each of mixed beans cooked in sweet chilli sauce; no problem at least they tried. Got the bill and was charged ~19 euro each for this. Queried this with the server who soon got the owner who ended up being a complete egomaniac going on about the cost of his mortgage apparently being in the millions. Absolute joke of a restaurant and owner.More
