Walked here from the HI Express (almost next door) for a good meal. Portion sizes, for European tastes, were such that we passed over the appetizers and went straight to Entrees. Food took a while, but when it arrived was very good. A little expensive but possibly the only place in Tusayan to get a decent meal.

The Coronado Room is located in the Best Western. While I would recommend staying at the hotel, I would advise finding alternative dining options. There is very little variety, obscure options, and the food that you do get is not great at all. It is supposed to be fine dining, but it definitely misses the mark. Although I do enjoy... More

Because Tusayan has such poor selection of restaurants we tried this one after having a so-so meal at Canyon Star and terrible one at The Big E. The Coronado Room is inside the Best Western. It is very tastefully decorated however the service was terrible and the food was only tolerable. My beet salad cost $8.50 and contained 3 slices... More

This restaurant is about as close to fine dining as a two michelin star establishment is to fast food. The service is impeccable but the menu is rather dull and the food is not more than nutrition. However, unlike other reviewers I did not find it expensive at all. I have read a lot of "great food but expensive" entries... More

We were very happy with the food and the service here, especially since the rest of the area was a big let down. When I talked to the waiter about my food issues, he brought out the chef who was able to alter a meal for me to be gluten free and no corn. I liked that they had some... More

Very expensive, but great food. The first thing on the menu that caught my eye was the lamb chops, but I really really wanted to try the elk tenderloin. I asked for it medium well but it came out a little rare. Also, the meat was very game-y in taste. I don't really like a strong meat. I did convince... More

Although we stayed across the road at the Grand Hotel, we read some very good reviews about the Coronado so we decided to try it one night for dinner. This is a very efficient place, we were seated quickly with menus and had drinks within 5 minutes. The menu is quite good we all found something we liked and the... More

Wine selection by glass could be improved although we had a very good Malbec. The food was excellent. The recommended elk medallions were the best!

They had a great menu selection between 5:00 - 6:00 PM for an entree and desert for $15. Service was excellent and food was great
