Four off us went for dinner. The trout eater said it was very good and could not finish the portion. The grilled prime rib said it was good but could do better at home. The chicken, cheese, and crab dish was rated execelent. The stuffed rib eye was so so just a little dry.. The bread and salad were good. We had... More

For being in the middle of nowhere Arizona I guess it's a pretty decent little place. The New York Strip is pretty good just be prepared to pay for it...

We like to go here for birthdays. We had the whole family there for my 65th birthday last year. I especially like the petite prime rib with the chile relleno. The salad is the best.

A great relaxing place to have a date night. Good food, but at a cost. I have enjoyed everything that I ordered, but you have to keep up on the staff for more salad and bread. If I am paying a high price, I think that you should get re-filled bread when you want. Otherwise I would go to olive... More

The owner - john - takes pride in both the quality of the food and the service. The food was presented well and the portions were large. We were in a group of 4 and every entree was very good or excellent. Probably the chile relleno side dish was the least favorite and that only because it was very different... More

the prime rib was was very tough and basically tasteless. as though it had been boiled. the calamari appetizer was cold--we sent it back--when it came back, it was warm, but had absolutely no calamari flavor. the ambiance(if that's what you'd call it) was punctuated by extremely loud boom box music, obviously being played for the employees benefit, rater than... The prime rib here is my favorite in town. It is so good, that I haven't eaten much else here. The lasagna and burgers are also very tasty. There are plenty of items on the menu for everyone. Service is great and the restaurant feels nice and cozy. This is a good place to go for families or groups. The... More

I recently visited Sierra Vista and saw this restaurant had some good recommendations so I thought my boyfriend and I would try it. The food was not impressive considering what others had said about the food. We started with a tortilla soup instead of the salad and that was very good and tasty. We planned to do a surf and... We had a very nice time at the Mesquite Tree Restaurant. We have not been there in more than eight years, and even though the owners have passed, their family had kept it to its standard. A warm, comfortable, atmosphere with a great staff and surprisingly delicious food, we truly enjoyed our experience! I had the trout, yum!! Tiramisu.....THE BEST!!
