this place is very well set, and has a lovely terrace. Food is good, but you can't go wrong with the wagyu new york strip. Definitively fish is not their strong suit.
Had a nice meal recently at Bourbon Steak with a colleague. The food was excellent, but a bit pricey for value. Drinks were quite expensive, which is expected in a restaurant at a five star resort hotel. The appetizer french fries with the sauces was quite good.
Had a very good meal here with expert service on a Saturday night. In spite of the loud C&W music, we had no problem with conversation at our table. People watching was excellent. I seem to be the only reviewer not interested in the french fries but they were attractively presented. Portions are quite large - I had skirt steak... More
My wife and I decided to treat ourselves ( no trick) on halloween nite with our second trip to Bourbon steak at the Princess in Scottsdale. Our first visit 3 years ago was unmemorable so we were pleased that this time it was very good. We started in the bar with some happy hour treats. Great choices and in conversation... More
We had a lovely evening - the weather was spectacular, so we ate on the patio. The décor is beautiful: understated and does not compete with the desert serenity. I must say the pastrami dusted frîtes cooked in duck fat were a delightful surprise. The service was fine - our waiter even took my exotic drink ordering in stride. I... More
Attended a business dinner while at a conference at the Fairmont Princess. Food and service were great from start to finish. I started with an excellent cocktail and wedge salad. Followed by several shared apps - fries were actually the best. Then the main event ... outstanding fillet with asparagus on the side and accompanied by a spicy red. For... More
I was in PHX for a conference... decided to skip the last night and take out some key clients to the "best restaurant" in the area. They sat us in the chef's table... Let me set the scene: - Long table, 7 people - 4 waiters / waitresses - 2 bottles of wine / 8 bottles of sparking water -... More
This group will startle you with food and wine knowledge. A rare experience. Attention to details table side such as waiting to be addressed instead of busting into an intimate conversation I was having with my bride. This type of respect is common with the staff. Matt, the beverage bar manager is a purest and a true mixologist. Something rare... More
I usually get a steak at a steak restaurant, tied the chicken and my husband the fish, it was delicious. Very pricey but amazing
