Visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch and absolutely loved it - food is very fresh, imaginative menu and wholesome. Savoured every dish with great wine, our favourite of our trip.

It was my third visit, and it was as amazing as before. Really great food with good wine and first class service. Perfect for a beautiful lunch with a view (and even better on a sunny day!)

We enjoyed Jordan Restaurant's Winter Special - 4 courses with 2 glasses of wine which we found very reasonable. The restaurant is located in beautiful Stellenbosch with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. The food was fantastic with superb presentation. Our mushroom soup starter was superb and light - this followed by hake fish with a tasty creamy sauce.... More

Fantastic food, first class service and beautiful setting. The only real downside was the booking process by email was a real pain bordering on obstructive. Sure you're booked so why not offer some alternative times and dates rather than "we're fully booked" and the resulting email ping pong. Then when we arrived on time at 12.00, the entire restaurant was... More

We had a fantastic meal with a very interesting menu. The cheese board was very interesting. The pricing is high, but expected from this class of restaurant. The downside was sitting on the deck on a very hot day with no cooling system, so it was uncomfortable.

Eat Out's number 3. Really? The restaurant is absolutely beautiful with some of the nicest views you'll find but after all the hype about this place I found the food uninspired. We had the mussels and two different fish dishes - none which was exceptional. The service staff are brilliant though and the Jordan wines very good. It is one... More

We had an absolutely stunning meal at Jordan last night. We indulged in the food and wine pairing menu and it is exceptional. We highly recommend Jordan to all serious foodies, light and explosive on the palate and further enhanced by the carefully selected wines. We loved the personal touch of each chef explaining the dish, and Isabella is passionate... More

Down a long rural lane that you think will never end but when you get there you will be amazed at the setting by a small lake and a fabulous setting with views across Stellenbosch and surrounds. On a nice day everyone sits outside and the ultra modern in your face kitchen has nothing to hide. The 4 course lunch... More

really great food, and even better service......we hopped in on short notice without reservation, so, naturally the place was fully booked, but the guys made an effort and arranged a table for us, so that was a real good start. The food was good, but, as you would expect from an extraordinary winery like Jordan, the wine was even better.... More

This place is officially ranked as the no. 3 best restaurant in SA, but in my books it's ranked as no.1. George Jardine is a very innovative chef who combines classics techniques with modern styles. The food is light, well seasoned and full of pleasant surprises. Jordan wines offer a variety which suits all. From a nice dry Chardonnay to... More
