We hit Catharina's on a sunny Sunday and their Sunday buffet was available. We made our selection (all foods excellent) and then sat outside under the oak trees, thoroughly enjoying ambience, service and a good lunch.

We had a wonderful meal in the garden at Catharina's. The weather was CT at its best which also made the meal memorable. The food was very good, staff attentive and the surrounding gardens superb. Always love a find a garden setting where the food is good.

Less than average main course. (Rib eye). Spur would have done better . One of the front of house staff was lounging on the counter on my way out. Too busy texting to pay attention to customers leaving. Overpriced for the experience

I looked forward to going to Catharina's but was sadly very disappointed with my experience. For restaurant with such a good reputation and in such a beautiful venue we found the food overpriced , simple and lacking in the frills one would expect from a venue of his calibre.

Travelling around in Constantia on Saturday, and after several fully booked places we arrived at Steenberg vineyards. Visiting my family in Bergvleit this restaurant was the first choice for the eight of us It did not disappoint .the food was excellent ,the service superb and the ambiance was parfait Well done .i would thoroughly recommend this establishment

The Steenberg Estate is a gorgeous wine farm in Constantia with old Cape Dutch homestead architecture and beautiful landscaping. We were spoilt at Catharina's! The service was excellent and the food was fantastic but the setting tops it all! If you are looking for a great meal with great wine and a beatiful outlook, you need to come to Catahrina's. This place is special, a honeymooners must!!
