What a wonderful name for a wonderful venue! This is no ordinary cafe, but a sanctuary for the soul. There is something quite magical about this hidden little gem nestling in a trendy part of C.T. that attracts an amazing variety of patrons from across the globe. Perhaps it is the aroma of freshly ground coffee, or the wonderful display...

We live in Cape Town in the summer months and are regulars (2-3 times a week) at this wonderful little Café in the heart of the trendy Waterkant area. Delicious food, great coffee, superb hosts. Len and Johan, the owners, are very attentive and prepare all of the homemade pastries and mouthwatering cakes themselves. We can even take our doggy...

I have been to this quaint little coffee shop/lunch spot a few times now and it is always excellent. The decor is different and the little tables cute. the food is fresh, beautifully presentated and outstanding. Service a little bit slow but not too much of a problem but you are always made to feel so welcome. Try the carrot...

Amazing find in Cape Town, that became our morning local. Breakfast menu was delicious, with a great French twist. Definitely recommended. Would return if lucky enough to go back to Cape Town.

We were spoilt for choice, but eventually...

Love the venue, The service is great and the owner is always there to sort out any problems. The coffee and cake is to die for for.
This is a beautiful little find. The owners Len and Johans are wonderful hosts whether you go to la Petite Tarte for coffee and one of the wonderful home made cakes (Carrot Cake is gorgeous!) or for a delightful lunch. The owners make all the food themselves and have even written a cookery book with some of the recipes included....
