The Food, especially the Pasta's are always good. Service can be slow if it is busy (which is usually is) but for a dinner with friends, order a few extra drinks & enjoy the ambiance. Waiters are busy but attentive. For a dinner for two the balcony is a good idea. Make sure you book ahead of time.

Spiga is an institution in Durban. The service is good and the atmosphere great. Their pizza's however could be so much better. Less filling and cooked better. The base was pretty soft and soggy, should be nice and crispy. Ohterwise a lovely evening. Share it with friends. Bookings advisable.

Visiting daughter and beau in Durban, we enjoyed a dinner here and really enjoyed ourselves. the staff was really friendly, and the food was really tasty. Service was great and we had no problem with waiting times. Recommended!!!!!!!

It was a great place to go out to eat. Pretty safe area. Just be careful when ordering food. The souce they bring to the table is spicy and should be added to the food with care.

Always visit Spigs on my visit to Durban. Never fails to disappoint. Need to ensure though you willing to wait as when it's busy you can wait a while to get seated and for your food.
