We stayed at Hunters for 4 nights, it's very luxurious and in beautiful grounds. The staff are friendly and the ‘cottages’ very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant on a couple of occasions and it was OK, not cordon bleu, we expected it to be exceptional and were a little disappointed

a relaxed yet grown up vibe. terrific menu and beautifully cooked dishes. the ambience is relaxed and colonial, with comfortable seating and furnishings. We had lamb, oriental beef, rosewater rice pudding, all tasted great and served by efficient friendly staff. would certainly recommend to others.

For anyone into interior design Hunters is a treat, the rooms of the hotel are like something out of House Beautiful. It has a very old country feel to it which contradicts the trip advisor description as contemporary! We had a premium suit which was so lovely and private. Great serve, lovely food and superb setting amongst the vines. Definitely one for good weather.
