Don't be put off by the unassuming outside appearance. This is an excellent, authentic Italian restaurant, with wonderful food, reasonable prices and courteous service. Nice to find when you are looking for a change from Mexican!

Mesa Italiana was recommended by the Travelodge, and it exceeded its recommendation. Italian dishes prepared as they should be, prompt service, and good wine. Good value as well. I recommend it to anyone passing through Holbrook.

The desk clerk at the Holiday Inn Express recommended this restaurant and he was right on the money. The home-cooked Italian entrees were delicious and came in ample portions. A great place to stop for a bite in an area with mostly only fast food available.

We went in with low expectations but were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and the service. The portions were a good size and the prices quite reasonable.

Homemade pasta specials with either garlic white wine sauce or pomodoro basil garlic were so mmm scrumptious we looked forward to dining there both nights we were in Holbrook. Tiramisu is my dessert of choice at Italian restaurants, but it's not worth eating here. That's the only disappointment. Other desserts are great to split between two people.
