The food was amazing. Beautiful for that special ocassion. Well presented. We had to wait a wee while for our food as we were with a large group, but well worth the wait.
Its my family tradition to eat out on christmas eve..but wished we had chosen somewhere else. Had a bad experience a couple of years ago here but thought we'd give it another go..dissapointing. Tough meat and mostly over fried food. Burnt fried cornfritter complimenatry though! Staff are nice and courteous but for $ 280..not again sorry!
Lovely service, very friendly staff and beautiful food, great dining. The Angus beef Carpaccio was divine

Love this place - certainly not a place to eat weekly (we live in Timaru) because of the price, but then again it is a fine dining restaurant and it is well worth the money spent for the quality of the food. The service is great. Nice atmosphere.
We spent xmas in Timaru went to the Ginger and Garlic excellent exmas buffet we were sat at a table overlooking the bay, greeted with bubbly the staff really friendly and we enjoyed all the meal. Thanks for making xmas special
