This was our last meals before leaving Homer. Went there based on reviews from Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. Didn't have a reservation, but were still welcomed and seated in about 25 minutes. Excellent choices, very friendly waitress who was helpful and attentive. Good dessert selection also. Would go back and also recommend to others.

The seafood is amazing and the view is awesome. The fried seafood sampler platter with halibut, salmon, scallops and prawn is delicious and the Alaskan king crab legs are to die for!!

The grilled halibut was excellent. The baked halibut was masked in a cream dill sauce, too much. Good views of the bay. Crowd waiting for tables. They will even cook your catch for you.

If you are coming to Homer for the seafood, don't expect to pay cheep prices! With that being said, this is one of the best restaurants on the spit!! The prices are comparable, the portions are amazing, and the atmosphere is what you expect in a small fisherman's town on the dock! I got the halibut with tiger shrimp and... More

Four of us traveling in Alaska, ate at Captain Patties in Homer on Friday June 7. I ordered wine I am familiar with. It appeared to be a different wine to me so I told the waitress that I did not like the wine and stated that it didn't, taste right. She offered to replace it but seemed annoyed. I... More

First of all I would like to thank you for dining with us. Second I want to apologize that you were not happy with our choice of wines. We have had many compliments in our wine selection during our 14 years in business as Captain Pattie's. We open and serve many bottles each night so there is no way it... More

On our first night in Homer, my wife and I spent some time on the Spit and visited Captain Patties because of a recommendation from the staff at our hotel in Anchorage. We are glad we did! It was the one time on our trip we had agreed to splurge on king crab legs. I have never tasted anything like... More

We visited Captain Patties two weeks ago. We arrived around 8 pm and were seated near the windows over looking the bay. We had the grilled halibut and crab legs as an appetizer. Food and service were excellent. Highly recommend Capt. Patties

I went with others who liked it so much they wanted to go back. They ordered the same thing they'd had the day before, as did I -- halibut "fish and chips" but grilled instead of fried and with salad instead of French fries. $22 may be pricey, but seems about normal for halibut, and was beautifully prepared. Our waitress... More

Wonderful setting on the Spit in Homer but food is average service is average price is not. i don't think you will see many locals there. $133.00 for two people needs to be pretty outstanding.

Our dinner was tasty (local seafood) but nothing special except the high prices. The fish was good but salads, ambience, presentation, etc didn't match our expectations. It's convenient because it is on The Spit, but otherwise I would recommend finding another place to spend your dinner dollars.
