The staff was very nice. They spoke in and out of spanish just for fun, but had amazing english. The food was very good and there were many choices. Also great sunset views, and views of the forest!

Even if staying at another hotel in town it is worth a stop here one night for dinner. We stayed at the hotel 2 nights but only ate in one night. The food is 5 star, service impeccable, extensive wine list from various countries, nice candle lighting and attention to detail.

I enjoyed a pretty good vegetable sandwich here (an abundance of avocado, peppers, onions, tomato, cucumber, lettuce), my travel companion got a chicken and rice dish that she quite liked. service was very nice and the food came out fast.

Restaurant was great--food was excellent and staff very friendly/helpful. They put on a great "special" meal for my wife's birthday at the end of our trip---very memorable

A great restaurant set within the Monteverde Lodge hotel. We only had breakfast and a lunch here. The former were the best in Costa Rica - especially the Gallo Pinto 'typical' breakfast.
