This is a lovely open-air restaurant, with many Costa Rican dishes on the menu. You'll see a dish referred to as "casado" in many restaurants. It's mainly just rice, black beans, plantains, and meat or fish. We had the best selection of casado varieties here and they did the best job with it.

While staying at the Hotel Si Como No, we ate several meals here -- all of our breakfasts, a couple of lunches and one dinner -- and were never disappointed. We were pleased to find that they even offered the Rico Tico menu at the swim-up pool bar as well. We actually found the food and service better here than... More

This was a great place to take our family! The food was delicious, and the kids loved the band. It was a very fun spot to spend the evening.

This was our first official meal in CR. We had dinner for 4. Three of us had the traditional Costa Rican chicken. It was excellent. It came with fried plantains, rice, black beans, fried egg, and a fresh tomato slaw salad. My less adventurous daughter had the pasta with pesto. The plate of pasta was enough to feed a family... the breakfast buffet was lovely and included potatoes, omelettes cooked to order, fluffy french toast, bacon, fresh fruit, bakery items, plaintains, juices, and hot coffee. Dinner recommendations are the plaintain tarts, frijoles, and Costa Rican pizza....awesome and very reasonably priced. At breakfast, you may have visitng monkeys!

I was looking for more "local" and "typical" food away from a hotel. By accident, we stumbled upon the Si Como No complex and read the Rico Tico menu. My husband enjoyed his meat and veggies, and I indulged in a ceviche plate. We were served with a smile (and typical Tico speed) by a young man with nearly impeccable... More

I admit that I am a foodie. I live in a large city that is known for it's wonderful restaurants. I was in Costa Rica for two weeks recently and having a hard time finding food that would qualify as a great meal, and then I found Rico Tico in Manuel Antonio. The food, service, and atmosphere are top notch.... More

3 generations stopped for lunch and had a great meal. Nice ceviche, and fish sandwiches. The view was wonderful and despite the notice on the menu that states that the pool is for guests only, the head waiter offered to let my grandson swim in the pool. (generating mojito sales at the swim up bar). We went for dinner after... More

We went there for lunch, the mahi mahi ceviche was good, quesadilla, fish sandwich, burger were okay. Our waiter was the best one in all of our 10 day travel in CR.
