We stayed at the nearby Marriott Costa Rica and wanted a local place to eat! Very nice atmosphere and a varied menu! A great way to mingle with the locals!!!!

We stayed at the Marriott near the airport and had dinner at Kiantis for our last nights meal in Costa Rica. The food and service were very good. We had the ceviche, arroz con camerones and corvina. It seems like a family restaurant and the food was good using fresh ingredients. The owner walked around greeting everyone. Nice touch. A... More

This week I had their famous "Sea Bass (Corvina) in white wine sauce"... mmmm! I can still remember how it melted in my mouth! The plate was clean in no time... :) I have been eating at Kianti's in Belen for over 7 years now and it never disappoints our tour groups. The local english speaking friends love it too,... More

This is not 5 star but for a nice local place for dinner with some ambiance, it is very nice. I had sautéed shrimp in pasta and the sea bass civiche. There are several seafood dishes. They also had chicken and beef and from looking at the other tables they seemed nice. The staff of nice and prompt.

Staff is friendly. Food is very fresh & tasty. We were able to enjoy a fish & a ribeye entrée with beers for under $35US.

Have eaten here perhaps once/ month for 3 years. Both the quality of the food and the service are excellent and the prices are reasonable. A very pleasant Tico environment!

This is one of our favorite special occasion restaurants and we love bringing guests here, yet it's economical enough to eat there more often. As other reviewers have said, the Comida Tipica is excellent, especially the Arroz con Pollo and the Mediterranean Corvina. The staff is all bilingual and they have a fully-stocked bar. We've been there for birthdays and... More

This is definitely my recommendation for Tico food done at its best. We have eaten there for years and never had a bad or oven mediocre meal. Their steaks and seafood are absolutely tops for local food. Everything is always fresh and the vegetable are not cooked to mush as is often the case in other local style restaurants and... More

Attention is prompt and food tastes freshly made. Can be very slow at lunch time.

My wife and I had the Sea Bass which was done well with nice sauces. The kids loved the tropical drinks. The restaurant has wi-fi access. There was a helper outside assisting with parking.
