we had Italian food (restaurant is French and Italian food) good wine and the kids had ravioli. I cannot believe that they had little toys for our kids to play with! Only place in Samara that has this. We will be back.

Okay! So the owner is French. But don't think high-end French restaurant w/ small exotic delightful mini plates. That is not what they do here.
I had a seafood pasta for dinner this time last year and it was only so-so, for taste & value. I can fix a better seafood pasta fast, at home. But I took the risk...

Friendly staff, good food, good wine and delicious rum! Even if the tables are close to street, there is no noise.
What a nice surprise! Found this gem on our second to last day of the trip, bummer, because we were only able to eat there twice! Living in a city of nearly 5 million people, I can't find a place that makes Pizza this good. Great ambiance and jazz music. Vincent our waiter was very attentive wearing Board Shorts and...

One of the best restaurants in Samara, nice ambiance with a children friendly environment. The portions are hearty and the quality of ingredients unquestionable.
A very warm welcome in french, english or spanish, very good service and atmosphere. Awsome casado and very fresh salad. This is really a place to discover at Playa Samara!
We tried Ma Ma Gui knowing it was a French styled restaurant. There is outside
seating very close to a busy road across the street from a supermarket. We chose
not to eat inside because it was too hot and too smokey. (I would imagine the
heat was generated from the pizza oven. Costa Rican law prohibits smoking within
dining...

Great place to have a casual dinner. The owners are very passionate but could do a better job making drinks. Food was good and reasonably priced.
We ate here one night. One of us had the pizza which was very good and I had the blue cheese ravioli. The ravioli was average. I could not taste the blue cheese. However, the service was excellent and the menu had a good choice of Italian food. I would go back for the pizza as it was delicious and...

Thin crist pizza is delicious. We ordered fresh mushroom, sausage, oniom, pepper and fresh mozzarella. Yum! The salad francise is also very good and large enough to share. Beer was cold and served in a frosty mug. Located off the main drag. They have WiFi too.
