The place is 24/7, the special hamburger is BIG! and the strawberry and Mango milkshakes are delicious. It's not a fancy place at all so please keep that in mind. Prices are really afforable.

Our first true Costa Rican meal, and did not disappoint. Try one of the huge Casados. Good people watching opportunities too.
Nice decent meals (pizza, sandwiches, hamburgers, local cuisine) on affordable prices and the place is opned 24/7
As others have remarked this is a typical Soda style cafe offering local dishes. Costa Rican food is, well, Costa Rican food. You don't come here for the food. Authentic Italian menu in a pleasant casual atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating although many tour groups stop here which coud be bothersome.
Central location and 24/7 cafe offering cheap and basic food. The burrito was over cooked and oily with liquid meat filling and a salad consisting of cabbage only.
Prime location with 24/7 operation. Simply, fresh food and good value for money if you choose from buffet. Either 2200 CRC for meal – rice , meat, beans salad and juice or 2600 CR including polo – chicken. They have also menu from which you can choose. Every time busy, mix of tourists and locals which is indication that the...

What I like more of La Parada restaurant is the location. It is righ infront of the main park of La Fortuna. So if you ge a table close to the sidewalk its nice to see whats happening outside. The food is average quality and the price is average too.
Stopped here for lunch. The food was good, and the service was friendly and prompt (keeping in mind that Latin America doesn't share North America's need for instant gratification). The buffet was not as enticing as the menu items. Restrooms were relatively clean considering the busy lunch crowd was just finishing.
Ate here as part of our ATV tour. Food was very good Cosados. Huge portions. Clean, nice, open restaurant. Friendly staff.
