Have had lunch here several times. The food is always good. However the price/drink menu is getting pricey.

This restaurant has been here since the beginning of the tourist boom in la Fortuna. You can count on a reasonably priced, tasty meal here. You also get a sense that the staff and kitchen practice good hygiene and you won't get sick from the food. Everything is clean. The "frescos" or natural fruit drinks are stupendous. I love the...

The service was fine and the food was pretty good. Their prices were decent which made it a nice break from the expensive hotels. Overall its a good place to grab a bite out in the town but nothing to write home about.
I had the casado here which was excellent. The portions here are massive, I initially thought there was no way I could eat the quantity of food offered, but the quality was good and I had no problems. Dessert was also similar huge, the banana split was served in half a pineapple!
Service was good, prices are slightly higher than...

While there are lots of good menu options, and prices are on the high end, but not too bad, I thought the food was good but not great...considering it was $22 - $25 a plate for what we ordered. Service was good, and the environment is very comfortable.
Food is great, service is attentive, prices are reasonable. Would definitely go here for a dinner in Fortuna
Took my family here last Saturday night, along with a friend with a very restricted diet (no milk, no soy). So I wasn't expecting much when we ate here. Setting is unique in a barnyard with traditional dress. Started off with spicy pickled veggies which were too spicy for me. Friendly staff, nice ambience. Food portions were large. Tried the Sopa de Pollo, excellent and the Campisino platter. The presentation which is almost always lacking in Costa Rica was not here. I walked away happy and full.
Also had them in Guanacaste - YUM! They have this great pickled hot sauce too. Food is just so authentic and delicious. Wish they opened for breakfast.
