Very good service and food. Seemed to be a vey popular place. Had fajitas and margaritas which were very tasty and good.
This place was recommended to me for my last night in Costa Rica. I'm glad it was! Food was great with good portions. But the service was great, attentive waiters meant I didn't have to wait long for anything. Everyone staying locally should check this place out.
Jalapenos came recommended to us from a local. Glad we listened. The food was great and the prices were reasonable for the area. The portions were huge. The standout item was there salsa, very spicy.
Really, there is no better place to get Mexican or texmex food in all of Costa Rica. The service is excellent, fast and friendly.
We've eaten here several times over the past five years, and each time has been very good. I love Costa Rica, but its cuisine is not all that interesting, so some good Mexican food is always appreciated. If Norman is around, take a minute to stop and chat with him, as he's always got something interesting to say. Also check... More
Hadn't been in a while, but today was the restaurant's 10th anniversary so made the trip. Totally worth it as usuaI. It was packed with happy diners, the food was coming out fast and hot, Norman was his usual charming self and they even had a mariachi band for a short while. The absolute best place for good food in... More
This place is a must-stop for Tex-mex lovers and those who appreciate the flavor of great mexican food. All-natural ingredients and wonderful hot sauce! This sauce should be sold in bottles as a take-home. The chef Norman is truly a warm-hearted and enjoyable fellow to talk to. Don't miss this place, even if its just for a beer and conversation.
We stopped in here at the recommendation of our B&B front desk. Small place, but we were pleasantly surprised. We chatted up the owner, Norman, and he told us how he came to be in Costa Rica. The food was really good, and my daughter's fiancee braved the hottest thing on the menu, and survived it. I recommend this place... More
I have actually eaten here a few times now and have been impressed each time. I am from the American Southwest where we have a lot of Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants and I love this food. The owner is extremely attentive, knowledgeable and honest...a rare combination in Costa Rica. My recommendations are: The Monster Burrito-chicken (if you have the appetite... More
