The steamed pork dumplings are worth the trip all by themselves. The service was excellent; but nothing compared to the dumplings... Simple a-la-cart menu is great for the timid too.

I always love Chinese food and I often vist dingtaifeng stores in shanghai. Yesterday I went to this one I zhengda on the third floor, the dumpling of the hairy crab is not really hot inside, the green veg tasted very bitter, it was a very bad experience compare to the store which I usually visit in the xingtiandi and... We want there after our tour of the Bund and got a table with a view in the river. Food was easy to choose (with the usual photo menu) and it tasted really authentic. A place not to miss

If you visit Shanghai, as a Westerner, you probably most likely to visit the Bund, which has the 20's and 30's financial buildings. The other place you most likely to visit would be Xin Tin Da, this area is a mix of the old and the new architectures is a must to see, and the energy from all the pubs... More

I like the taste of dumplings and I like even more how ding tai fung is doing it. The open kitchen where they make the dumplings live with a sensational dexterity. If you don't speak asian languages no problem with the picture menu.

Before going to Din Tai Fung, I had been told great things, particularly about their xiaolongbao; the results far exceeded my expectations. The fois gras dumplings and wild mushroom with white truffle dumplings are particularly decadent; however, for first-timers, the pork dumplings and the pork with crab meat are two classics that are not to be missed. For those with... More

The xiao long bao (steamed pork dumplings) here are the best in the world. Service is great, awesome views, good food, reasonable prices. We love it!

This dumplings restaurant seems to be very famous and makes pretty good dumplings. The decor is decent and clean but nothing outstanding. I would give it a 4-star rating. But the prices of the dumplings are extremely high. How can dumplings cost so much?

This Chinese place seems to be on the more expensive side, however, it really delivers. I recommend the pork with hairy crab dumplings, and the spicy beef noodle (not sure of the exact translation). The menu has pictures and are in English. Watch out though as there is always a wait to get in. Go outside peak lunch and dinner... More
