I'll echo the review before me "Our experience at this restaurant cannot be representative--or the place would be out of business." Even though other tables were available, we were seated right next to the kitchen window, which I would consider the worst table in the place. We asked to have a different table and wondered if we were "punished!" We... More

Our experience at this restaurant cannot be representative--or the place would be out of business. Four of us sat down early on a Sunday evening. Our waitress gave us a long list of items that they were "out of"--fried chicken, french fries, macaroni and cheese, among others. We ordered other items that appeared on the menu, along with drinks. The... More

I have been here a few times and its always a good time. The service is decent but the BBQ is good and the place is always pretty busy with a lively crowd.

We were with a big group that had reserved in advance but I got the impression that the business operates on a first come, first serve basis only. I had the sampler platter with macaroni and cheese and french fries. There are no vegetable sides to speak of. All of the offerings ( ribs, chopped chicken and chopped pork) were... More

Not the best BBQ we've had by a long shot. Ribs were chewy, not fall off the bone. Initial service was fast, then we were ignored to the point where we had to stand up and waive our hands to be noticed. This is EXTREMELY casual, very kid friendly.

I have been to Dreamland prior to this trip and prior to Trip Advisor. I took a friend there letting him know this would be the best of the best. Well they fell way short. It wasn't the short wait and atmosphere of busy tourist and locals. It was the TOUGH ribs. We had to wrestle the meat off the... More

We went here and enjoyed the food. The service was also very good. It was a good place with good BBQ and we went there because it is a local, historic, eating joint. I would go back because the portions were very generous and the service was good.

Staff was very friendly & the food was wonderful-weather permitted outside dining & overall very enjoyable experience. Banana pudding was my husbands favorite part of the meal! But all the food was good, ribs especially tender.

Me and a friend decided to go grab something to eat from here before the Biscuits game. When we walked in they seemed confused as to who should help us. Upon being seated, our waiter showed up and he was awesome. He recommended a platter for us to try. So we listened and ordered it. Wait time was about average.... More

From the atmosphere to the waitress, to the food, to the price...this place was perfect! We tasted a little of everything, ribs, chicken, pulled pork, even some of there homemade banana pudding (as good as my moms). We left with a full belly and of their Dreamland barbeque sauce. I wish I lived closer, I would be a regular!
