Really enjoyed dinner in The Trellis Room. Tried the diver scallops with wild mushroom risotto, sauteed spinach and white truffle oil--outstanding and scallops perfectly prepared. Their crab cake appetizer was also excellent. My sister began with she crab bisque then entree of shrimp pappardelle--both were great. We stayed at the Battle House on a Friday night so the restaurant was...

I was not impressed. Entire operation felt disjointed; as if either they were all new to their jobs or they were tired of working there. Food, average at best. For the prices charged, you should expect better. My Lobster was severely over cooked, rubbery and tough to chew and my risotto was flavorless and far too al dente for my...

We had breakfast here during our stay at the Battlehouse Hotel. This is a historic room with lovely panelling and a beautiful skylight. Architectural details were amazing, service was excellent as was the food. Wait service was so friendly and efficient. Definitely recommended
We ate at the Trellis Room on valentines day 2013. After making our reservations a week in advance, we were told that they could not find them they did quickly rectify the situation though and found us a table. It was no wonder they were so accomidating, after we were seated and when it was to late to make a...

I know times are hard but for an establishement as prestigious as this to practice unethical business was a bit of a shock.
We stayed here on the 14th of Feb for a little valeintes day getaway in room 5120. The hotel is very nice and the staff was pleasant. The offer was for one night stay in the hotel...

I was really surprised that the restaurant of such a historically significant, downtown hotel was so small. The decor of the restaurant is quite unusual, but very interesting and appealing - the designer was really thinking outside the box with this one. The evening we dined here, the restaurant was very slow - only two other couples in the restaurant...

We really enjoyed the Trellis Room. The steak was perfefectly cooked and the taste was great. We also had the scallops and the dish was great. I really enjoyed the truffles in the vegetable medley.
Christmas dinner at the Trellis Room was wonderful. Food was great. Service was great. Atmosphere is historic. Waiter was great. What can I say? Steak was as good as an upscale steakhouse. Presentation was delightful. Even the coffee was better than average. We'll be back. You should go.
There was a very nice selection on the buffet. The orange juice was delicious and served in very large glasses. We could have ordered an omlet, but choose not to as there was a big enough selection on the buffet. Service was good - nice china a flatware as well.
