I went to Gibson's after being gone from Alabama (and it's spectacular BBQ) for a few years. My wife and I ended up at Gibson's. After eating there, I felt... Mehhh. It didn't hit the spot like I thought it would. What was even more disheartening, was that you cannot get a family meal for dine-in. Yeah, OK, I get... More

Gibson's has been one of our favorite places to eat for 15 years. The food is consistently delicious, with the most wonderful Lemon Icebox Bpie.

I had tried Gibsons barbeque in the past and found it lacking, it was too dry in my opnion. Recently we gave it another try and was pleasantly surprised at how mosit and flavorful it was.

A coworker raved about it but I wasn't overly impressed. The ribs were good but the pork seemed a bit bland. Boosting it up with sauce didn't help too much. the fried okra was excellent!

This place was very homey. The food terrific and the service was down home style. The cocnut cream pie is the best I have had besides my mom's....

Went to Huntsville for my Uncle's funeral. Gibson's was his favorite place to eat. Staff there were great! Food was great too!

How is boiled meat, no smoke, no flavor, called barbecue? Paatoooey! One the other hand, they have good pie and I am told good breakfasts. My own experience was at lunch, and I won't go back.

Great Barbecue that has been served for over 70 years. My favorites are the ribs and the pork. But you will never have better pie than what you will get at Gibson's

This has just good food but exceptional desserts! This is where I bought a whole lemmon pie when my grandaughter was born. I took the pie to my son and daughter-in-law to celebrate the birth. Good fols that work here as well.

I have stopped by Gibson's BBQ a couple of times via the drive-thru for lunch. The large sandwich is good and the fries are great. The sandwiches are served without sauce and a small container is included in the bag. This is not a normal BBQ sauce. It is more like a basting or dipping sauce. (very thin)
