Loved the old world atmosphere , Personal attention and good food . Clean rooms good service, graet location far from the crowd. Good management

We arrived there just after getting married. We reached to Bagdogra airport and the remaining things Elgin did for us. Pick up and a warm welcome at hotel. Sight viewing and all..beautiful hotel and all polite and professional staffs.

Their high tea was awful. Dry bread for the sandwiches, biscuits like rocks, dry cake and the scones were like leather. Only good thing was the tea! And more expensive than the Windamere - go there it's fantastic!

I decided to splurge on high tea at the elgin. The atmosphere was cozier than the Windemere and it didn't have the same haunted feel. Sadly, tea took almost an hour to arrive.
