They have a wide variety of food including snacks, cakes, lunch etc.. spacious restaurent and not crowded. it is located near Thilanka hotel and just in front of the main road (Anagarika Dharmapala Mawatha) We only tried their snacks and I must say that they are very tasty and cheap.

My wife and I were close by so decided to eat here. Was a little hard to work out that the restaurant was actually in the third floor however once there we weren't disappointed. We had the chicken curry and both found it great. They will cook it with less spice if you like as my wife did. Service was... More

Food very good and the staff here were really respectful and welcoming. Having had a few challenging experiences with Sri Lankan men this was a safe haven.

We quite liked this place: Decent curries and prices, and a relaxing break from the hectic world outside. The service was prompt, and there's a bakery right underneath.

I was expecting a cheesy theme restaurant with OK food, and they definitely lived up to the cheesyness while the food was a bit disappointing. We got a table on the balcony which lifted the experience a lot. OK if you are hungry and in the neighborhood, but not worth a detour.

Our meals at the History Restaurant were truly awful. The place must have worked hard to find cooks who could mangle food so badly. The grilled fish was as dry as cardboard. So was the chicken sate. The french fries were mummified. How an attractive place like this could serve such terrible food is truly a mystery.

Food was OK and reasonably priced. Slide projector faulty. Very few diners were in the restaurant at 7.30 pm

Looking forward to last meal in Kandy. Shame the chef cremated it. Poor value. Green salad was unintresting but edible. The fish/seafood plate came burnt/destroyed. Sent it back but then the bill came with it charged for. This was quickly rectified. They should of spent more money/focus on the food rather than all the photos that line the walls. Oh... More
