The goat cheese and tomato appetizer is a definite "do." Getting your drinks after your food and numerous polite reminders is a "don't." The check was also a loooong time coming. I'd skip it, there are plenty of other options.
After having eaten at Adobe and Estaka and experiencing the high prices we decided to try something a little more affordable. We popped into Casa de Piedro and the service and food were excellent, the atmosphere in the rear courtyard was relaxing and around 9:30 we were entertained with some live music. Overall, a very nice place.
This was the very first place we went to in San Pedro De Atacama. It is indeed a charming restaurant, but the food wasn't particularly appetizing.
Having read the mixed reviews, I can only say we actually had a good meal, with a nice house wine. They have a great courtyard out back, and it has a good atmosphere and is one of the few mid range places where the credit card machine works (which is often not the case in San Pedro).
The service was average at best. The pisco sour was good, but a friend ordered a terremotto and it was not what one should be. We ordered a pizza on recommendation, and it was a bust. The crust was slightly doughy, and the toppings were not fresh. Don't waste your time here, theres plenty of other really great restaurants in...

Pisco sour 4000 which we thought pretty steep, and also I think they forgot to add sugar. Pizza was good; thin crust and good variety. Nice big pepper grinder. Touristy tunes, more flute music.. And whistling. Good variety in the menu. 2 4 1 drinks starts at 7.
Nice place to go in San Pedro if you look for value for money. Nice atmosphere with an outdoor area to seat and enjoy an affordable wine, chosen and picked up straight from the tiny cellar. Prices are better than in similar restaurants in San Pedro, and food are as good as it's in all the restaurants we tried while...

We had a terrible dining experience at this restaurant. When we first arrived the waiter was snooty to our adult daughter who is fluent in Spanish but not Chilean. He took our order and then we didn't see him again until 40 minutes later when he finally brought our daughter her tea and then that was after asking him about...
