It is a local restaurant, not so fancy, but with great food, large portions and reasonable prices. We enjoyed the chef's fish robalo, with shrimps, squids, potatoes, rice and palm tree hearts. The service was nice and fast.

This restaurant was recommended by the locals and we thanked them for the advice. I got mixed seafood, one of the highlights of the menu, and it was a delight. Someone has posted that this is a good haunt used by locals. That was certainly the case the night we dined there. We chose fish with cheese and palm hearts. One portion served two people most generously. In fact we made the mistake of ordering a portion of fish pate for a starter. That was also delicious but totally unnecessary... More

Huge portions at great prices. This is one of the few places in Paraty old town offering excellent value for money. No surprise that it's always busy and you see other local restaurant owners eating here!
