The line was out the door on a Sunday morning around 11am. Most of the people waiting were "regulars". They promised that it was worth the wait, and they were right. Yummy.

I've been to Rise and Shine several times because of the food. They do have a great variety of breakfast options, from healthy (oatmeal) to heart attack on a platter (chicken fried steak and eggs) ; the latter being a favorite of mine. They'll make any kind of omelette you want, as long as they have the ingredients available and...

We tried this place because of all of the other reviews. I couldn't disagree more. It's 47 degrees outside but it's colder inside this restaurant. I suppose that's why my food was served cold. Oddly enough my side of ham was brought to me burnt but it was cold too. My wife's chicken fried steak tasted like it came out...

This morning, my Fiance and I decided to dine out for breakfast. It was 11am New Years day so our choices were limited. Since the Russian cafe next door was closed, we decided to try Rise and Shine.
Upon arriving, we were greeted and told to sit where we like. I found a booth and sat beside my soon to...

Every type of omelet you could ever want. My husband loves their biscuits and gravy. Great value for your money
We dine in at least twice a week. Best breakfast in town. Staffs are friendly and helpful. They have the best liver onions ever. The liver was cooked just right, not raw, not over cook. Their porkloins, chicken breast or sausage with eggs any style are good, too. We tried everything and always happy.
If you like down home cookin for breakfast this is the place. Extensive breakfast menu with great omelets, homemade bread, biscuits and gravy and home fries. Be sure and read the board when you go in to see what the breakfast special of the day is. When the waitress asks me what I want, I usually say "whatever is on...

No veggie burgers and fancy salads, just good old fashioned "diner" fare. But I managed to have a fairly healthy breakfast of egg beater omelette with mushrooms, peppers and tomatoes, a side of sliced tomatoes (a country Texan tradition) instead of hash browns and HOMEMADE cinnamon raisin bread. The bread was awesome, by the way.
My daughter and husband had...

Absolute best breakfast in Arlington if you don't have a grandmother who will cook for you. My husband and I drive over from the west side of Fort Worth on Saturdays to get this great home-cooked food. I order the eggs, pan-fried potatoes, and corned beef hash, with biscuits and gravy. My husband gets something called "Debris": a mix of...

Rise and Shine offers such a variety of food and ALL of it good! Best omelets around and great pancakes too. The prices can't be beat by any of the bigger chains.
