My family has been shopping at Vleta's for decades. The chocolate has always been amazing and the selection of goodies more than one could even imagine. I love to give Vleta's for teacher gifts and as thank you's. It's always a big hit.

Got some as 'thank you' gifts to give to the staff at the Residence Inn Marriott where I stayed. A little pricey but on the same quality level as See's, so, you get what you pay for and apparently the consensus around town is that these candies & chocolate are 'the bomb'!

Another place you MUST visit if you come to Abilene!!!! Handmade chocolates and hand dipped Strawberries and Grapes!! There is a lot of history in this old candy store and if you ask I know they would love to tell you about it!! Love! Love!!

We were expecting this to be a chocolate factory where you can see the chocolate being made but it is just a shop front.. Lovely chocolates with the price tag to match.

OMFG ! their choc covered strawberries beat any national company and other well known 800#s.companies. completely taken me by surprised. this place is worthy of your time and money. the best choc. covered strawberries.

Can't let a birthday or Christmas pass without buying chocolate gifts at Vletas. Upscale chocolates in 50 varieties in a historic railroad building--there's nothing like it for a long way.

Nothing to say except this place is sweeeeeet :). Awesome homemade candies. I got some peanut brittle and some white chocolate pretzels and I was a happy man.

There's NOTHING that leave the doors of this place that you will not want to eat before you get to your destination. (Save it ALL for yourselves!!!)

For lesssssssssss money you can pick up pecan pralines at Walgreens counter that are better.
