The owners moved into the former Uno's and it was a great move. Much nicer facility. They have the best chips and salsa (free). I enjoy their burritos and my wife loves their soup! They have a full bar with lots of beers on tap.

My fave is Enchiladas Suizas. I enjoy the MILD salsa over the regular and request it upon being seated. My spouse prefers regular. Service there is always very good, as is the food. They are eager to please if anything isn't "just right". Portions are always ample. Would definitely recommend.

Usually the "Camp" is much better, but on this visit wasn't very good. The cheese dip was tasteless and the beef fajita meat wasn't very good at all! Service was very good, the kitchen was off this day!

My husband and I usually order the Grilled Cazuelada, which is a dinner for two. It is ENORMOUS! We always take home left-overs and have 1-2 meals from those. The food is delicious. We love to take family and friends here and nobody has ever had anything that they haven't raved about. The service is also wonderful.

This is our favorite mexican place. The food is always excellent, the service is good. I can't rate the drinks as I don't drink alcohol, but others have said the margaritas are good. I recommend the cheese with chorizo for an appetizer. You get chips and salsa free.

You can practice your Spanish here as well as getting authentic dishes from South of the border. The tamales are wrapped in a banana leaf - this is NOT what you would get at Taco Bell.

Visited here awhile ago while shopping in Altoona. Food was pretty good and prices weren't bad. We aren't well schooled in what to order at a Mexican restaurant, so it's hit and miss for us to order something we like. Everything we ordered was good, except the nachos had a weird, white cheese which I didn't much care for. If... More

The food in average. The service is good . I'm not into the mudslide of refried beans across the plate. There has got to be MSG in everything. Feel like crap on this food.

My recent trip to El Campesino was great! My fiancé and I were greeted as soon as we came in. One of the waiters came over and gave us their fresh chips and salsa that were delicious! As a vegan, it was nice that there was a section on the menu that I could pick from! Our food was cooked... More

Lively atmosphere in a large restaurant. Clean bathrooms. Service was fast. Ordered chicken burrito and it was yummy. Free tortilla chips were also tasty. Reasonably priced.
