I like a good burger and when I am on vacation, I like a good burger at a place with cloth napkins. Neat outside area, but we sat inside (we're delicate) and could hear one another and just sit and eat comfortably. Great bacon! Yum.

We went here once in the winter and LOVED it. Last weekend didn't live up to our expectations. The service was disjointed and forgetful (although they compped one dessert because of it). The crab macaroni and cheese sounded so good, but had WAY too much truffle oil in it.... Various other dishes were nice, but just didn't "wow" us like...

The Loft is the most perfect place in Ashland for a birthday dinner--especially when we could sit outside on a lovely deck, had perfect service, halibut dish to die for, and the owner,Jacqueline, coming over to wish my friend, Roberta Stebbins a very Happy Birthday A steady patron, Jean Conger
The Loft: American Brasserie & Bar is hidden away among the buildings in the Ashland Plaza. However, a walk up the stairs to this "find" is worth every step. Everything they produce is done with an eye to freshness and sustainability, so most everything they prepare is sourced locally. I enjoyed their Bouillabaisse and my wife had their Halibut Special...

Just last week I had the pleasure of having dinner at the Loft Resturant. I had the lamb dinner and it was wonderful with all the trimmings. The sauce that the lamb was served with made the experience that much more appealing and the service was friendly and non-stop. Ashland is a wonderful place to visit and be sure to...

This is a OK place to eat while in Ashland. It is not a four star Restaurant, It is good fresh food prepared well and presented nicely. If you travel and compare to a four star in big city it misses the mark. Not to say its bad , its good for Ashland.
Had the meat and combined the cheese...

My wife and I have been coming to Ashland for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival for several years. One of our friends introduced us to Loft Ashland, and it has become one of our favorite restaurants in a town with lots of good restaurants. The menu is tastefully varied, and everything we've tried (most recently lamb for me, halibut for my...

I was in April 14 (again) and had the Charcuterie Plate, which I found to be a very authentically French dish, as an appetizer. I had it paired with a nice glass of French Vacqueryas . I would recommend it highly. It was delicious.
The entre' was Gnocchi, a delightful, light, potato dish; distinctively Italian. The green peas were exceptional...

1- "Charcuterie" Plate was a bread and butter plate covered with wilted spring mix and some bland dog food looking pate. Really chef? It doesn't look good.
2- Medium rare duck was well done and sliced. That means that you actually got to see if it was cooked to the temp requested. The skin was soggy and the dish was...

We went to brunch at the Loft on Easter Sunday.
It's a small but elegant restaurant with a knowledgeble but friendly staff.
There was such a variety of offerings. Eggs Bendict with crab,
Hazlenut French Toast, delicious omelettes, something for everyone. The brunch also came with fresh fruit and homemade pastries that melted in your mouth.
The next time we're...
