I was craving for a Western style breakfast while on holiday and chose this place as it was Time Out recommended. While portions were decent, the food itself was bland and underseasoned. Not sure what all the hype is about.

In the last few weeks, this restaurant has become our favorite weekend breakfast spot. The food is wonderful with full size portions on most of the items. The wait staff are pleasant and very well trained. The only downside is the lack of window shades which means it is very bright on sunny days between about 9 and 1030. Otherwise,...

Went here a few times, for lunch and dinner.
The set-up of the place is nice, but you have to check the wall for the menu which is annoying because if your seat is located all the way in the back you are forced to walk up to the front, or if you sit next to the menu you are...

There is no place like Antipodean if in search of a truly hearty b'fast. Long list of choices on the board with exceptionally good coffee too. Service is efficient even when place is filled with families and groups on a Sunday morn,
If you are going to have a "no seating to incomplete parties" policy; the least you can do is enforce it. Imagine how frustrating it is to be kept waiting whilst there are empty tables available being kept for incomplete parties. In the end and after 20 minutes waiting this morning, we left and ate elsewhere.
(This review is about the branch on Jalan Tun Razak, in Menara Tan & Tan). Antipodean is a great place for breakfast! The menu is extensive (although I find the whole 'menu written on the wall' thing rather annoying since it makes it difficult to read depending on where you are seated especially since part of it is usually obscured...

Ordered the "Big Breakfast" which basically comprises of toast, scrambled egg, hash brown, mushroom and bacon/pork-/beef-sausage. Had bacon and pork sausage. It was awesome! Very generous portion and the price was relatively decent. Also had a butter-free choc cake. It taste good too! They also have a variety of coffee that any coffee lovers should try! Overall atmosphere is pleasant...

Coming from Melbourne I have been spoilt for choice and have found finding coffee and food in KL difficult since my move until I discovered Antipodean... Coffee amazing, menu varied and yummy, portion size generous, staff on the ball and efficient (VERY unusual in KL). The play area for kids, the coffee, food and staff make this place a very...

Yes, is all about portion. Which normally I am a heavy-eater during my breakfast/brunch, AC really can make my stomach happy in one plate. Of course, the freshly cooked scramble eggs etc, which everything inside one plate is serve in HOT. This really another big PLUS point after tried lots which only served in WARM.
