This was a great place which we had lunch in this summer and apparently it has to close. The food was very good and the service was great.
This is a very special "road side diner". If you go there, you will find yourselft sitting outside in a beergarden. The menus offers a large selection. We tried many things- everything was really excellent. The prices are very reasonable and you can be sure not to leave the premise being hungry! It would be our favovorite if we would... More
This small place is very close to the lake and upon first looking does not seem like much. But it has a very brisk business both indoors and out. The food (soup and sandwich) were really excellent. Service was very friendly and prompt.
Go here if you are looking for good summertime food before or after you go to Emerson Park or the Merry-Go-Round Theater. The food was good, ample, and reasonably priced. The outdoor seating area was roomy and fun. The service was attentive and friendly.
We stopped at Green Shutters intending to have a light lunch before the show at Merry Go Round Playhouse next door. Surprise!! The food was very good and the portions were very generous. We ended up changing our dinner plans because we were so full. There are three dining areas: outside, the dining room, or the counter area where we... More
We had a nice dinner outside on a beautiful summer night. There were plenty of vegetarian options-grilled veggie wrap, salads, etc. The waitress was very attentive. The ice cream for dessert was a plus. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for an affordable family friendly restaurant with great service, food, and outdoor seating.
Located right at the Northern end of Owasco lake, right near the Merry Go Round Playhouse. You can eat in or out, also has car hop service----like walking back in time. New ownership last year has improved to very good food at a reasonable price.
Great place to grab a sandwich and enjoy the outdoor dining area. They now serve beer and wine. We always stop here for a quick lunch when we are in town

Made with homemade whole wheat bread with a choice of cheese, and we asked for tomato too. My granddaughter substituted sweet potato fries which were delicious,... More
This will be a short review, because I made a brief stop to Green Shutters while on vacation. I had eaten lunch elsewhere, and just stopped by for an ice cream. I could tell, though, that this would be a restaurant I typically like - a locally owned non-chain establishment. Green Shutters enjoys a very nice setting, and offers pleasant... More
